Description
This impressive French warship was built by the Dutch in 1626 and was one of five such ships bought by Cardinal Richelieu in an effort to modernise the French Navy. Displacing some 1200 tons and carrying 60 guns, the St. Louis in kit form has 189 parts plus sails, rigging and flags. – Taken from the 10th edition catalogue (1973)
