Description
Amid the many sounds of a European wood in springtime, the staccato drumming of a woodpecker boring a nest-hole is one of the more distinctive. Of the three main species of woodpwcker, the Lesser Spotted is the smallest and the subject of this lifelike kit. It is easy to construct and can be assembled in a typical natural setting. – Taken from the 1981 edition catalogue
1983 edition catalogue, listed as Woodpecker from Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.
