Description
Together with the Spitfire, the Hurricane played a central role in the air defence of Britain during the War. Using this plane, Squadron Leader R R Stanford Tuck became one of the top fighting Aces of the time, notching up 29 combat victories. The contents of this kit represent the plane flown by Stanford Tuck whilst commanding officer of No. 257 Squadron in 1940. – Taken from the 1992 edition catalogue
