Description
Used extensively by German Air Force in the first World War, the Albatross D.V. sometimes lost its wings in a steep dive. It was replaced in 1917 by the Fokker Tri-plane. Painted in vivid colours, this model is historical and a striking addition to any collection. – Taken from the 1st edition catalogue (1962)
