Description
This set presents the Horse Artillery as used at Waterloo, including a six horse team with gun and limber and a gun in action with full crew. A well trained gun crew could fire, clean the muzzle, reload and fire again in under 30 seconds, but were almost defenseless against enemy cavalry attacks. – Taken from the 9th edition catalogue (1971)
